During the winter months, the front bar has a roaring open Inglenook fireplace, whilst the back bar offers a contemporary alternative. It is always advisable to book for food service in the bar of your choice.

Both bars offer the same extensive traditional-style menu with food locally sourced and freshly cooked on the premises. We offer a Specials Board that changes daily and are pleased to offer menu choices for Vegan dishes. 

To enhance your enjoyment and relaxation, our staff will take food orders and serve the dishes at your table.

Our coffee is roasted by the award-winning Bean Shot Coffee Company based locally in Bruton and we are especially proud to be featured in the Best Pub Guide for offering 3 local ‘Cask Marqued’ ales.

The Breakfast menu is served from 10 am until 11:30 am.
Lunch starts at 12 noon and finishes at 3 pm.
Our evening service is available between 5 and 9 pm, from Monday until Saturday, and on Sunday it is available between 5 pm and 8:30 pm.

Booking for food is always advisable.
